The musical version of Full Mouse, Empty Mouse adds even greater depth to the characters and scenarios. A new character, Uncle Louie, serves as the wise and funny narrator, connecting the audience to the action. The stressed-out parents, the teasing endured by Billy, and the fear of fat experienced by Sally and her friends are brought to life. The music helps to solidify the messages in the show at an emotional and visceral level. Children will leave the theater with wonderful new songs in their heads! They will easily recall the key messages in the show through the lyrics, catchy tunes and lovable mouse characters. Some of the songs include: “I’m Doing the Best I Can,” “Why Do I Feel So Fat?,” “I Wish I Could Make Myself Vanish” and “Thin and Fat Won’t Teach You That.”

Full Mouse, Empty Mouse: The Musical is a great way for schools, theater troupes or colleges to bring important messages to young children—and the adults that care for them!
